Rosh Chodesh: Gateway to Every Woman’s Soul
Every month is a new opportunity for personal and spiritual growth. The ancients began their observance of “Rosh Chodesh” (the new moon) as a way to order time by following the cycle of the moon. Over the past 30 years, women have been gathering in small groups to rekindle the connection to the Divine and to each other in monthly explorations of the New Moon and themes throughout the year.
Drawing on experiences from being a member of an ongoing Rosh Chodesh Chavurah for 25+ years, the workshop or weekend covers how to create and sustain a group, useful resources and ideas for rituals that can be adapted and used in new groups.
The workshop format is tailored to the month of the program — and is both an opportunity to learn about Rosh Chodesh and to experience what a group evening might feel like.
